The Task Force apprehended a fake Ayurvedic doctor hailing from Haryana under Kulsumpura police station limits on Friday.  According to police, Rakesh Varma (37) a native of Panipat in Haryana gave fake ayurvedic and allopathic medicines to his patients. He claimed that he had cure for cancer, paralysis and infertility. 

Hyderabad: The Task Force apprehended a fake Ayurvedic doctor hailing from Haryana under Kulsumpura police station limits on Friday. According to police, Rakesh Varma (37) a native of Panipat in Haryana gave fake ayurvedic and allopathic medicines to his patients. He claimed that he had cure for cancer, paralysis and infertility.

Apart from this, he also claimed to have medicines that can help women give birth to a boy. “He used to charge Rs 50,000 to Rs one lakh for treatment,” said P Radha Kishan Rao, DCP, Task Force. Cases were registered against him in Hussaini Alam, Charminar and Kulsumpura police stations. The accused was handed over to Kulsumpura police for further investigation.
