According to Gwalior police, one stray bullet hit seven year old Sejal Jadon in her abdomen on Wednesday morning. Celebratory firing is common during weddings and other festivals across North India. They said some youths were firing in air and Sejal was watching them sitting in a chair. Suddenly, one of the persons misfired and the bullet hit the girl.
The culprits fled the place. The police said they were trying to identify the person who fired the shot. A case has been registered under Section 304 of the IPC in connection with the incident.
