Woman beaten to death by drunkard husband
In a gruesome incident, a 26-year-old married woman was allegedly beaten to death by her drunkard husband on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
Hyderabad: In a gruesome incident, a 26-year-old married woman was allegedly beaten to death by her drunkard husband on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday.
The incident took place under the limits of Vanasthalipuram police station. According to Vanasthalipuram SI Murali Krishna, Bhukya Sandeep (32) and Rani, of Khammam, were married for nine years and have two children, aged six and four. The couple migrated to the city a few years ago in search of a livelihood. While Sandeep works as an auto driver and Rani was a daily-wage-labourer.
The police said the couple got into an altercation on Wednesday night over a family issue. Sandeep, who was in an inebriated condition, in a fit of rage, thrashed Rani to death.
“We have filed a murder case against Sandeep, who is at large. We have launched a manhunt to nab him,” informed SI Murali Krishna.
