Hyderabad : A 23-year-old student died on the spot when the jeep he was travelling in turned turtle.
According to Shamirpet police, the victim, P. Prem, a student of Dommaiguda, met with the accident near Shamirpet when his Tata Safari car turned turtle at a culvert. Police suspect that his friends, who were travelling along with him, fled from the scene after the accident. Further investigations are on.
In another case, G. Nalla Reddy, 55, died of injuries which he suffered after he was hit by an unidentified two wheeler vehicle near Panch Bhai Alawa while crossing the road on March 29. He was admitted to the Osmania General Hospital where he succumbed on Friday. He was a GHMC labourer and resident of Jiyaguda.
