Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, burglars broke into a house in Kukatpally Housing Board Colony Phase III on Tuesday night and made away with one kg gold ornaments and Rs 50,000 cash.
The burglars entered, retired bank employee KVR Krishna Das’ house by breaking openthe main door and decamped with valuables that were accumulated for his daughter’s marriage. The incident took place when the family went to attend a marriage in Nellore on Saturday.
They reached home on Wednesday and found their house ransacked. The clues teams rushed to the spot. The police were also scanning the CCTV footages that were recorded in the premises of the house. Though, police were tight-lipped over the case divulging further details.
