Three Village Revenue Officers (VRO), who were convicted in corruption cases, had been recently dismissed from the services, Anti-Corruption Bureau officials said. 

Hyderabad: Three Village Revenue Officers (VRO), who were convicted in corruption cases, had been recently dismissed from the services, Anti-Corruption Bureau officials said.

M. Narayana, VRO of Wadkapur of Karimnagar district was trapped in ACB case in December 2010 and got convicted in December 2017. He demanded and accepted Rs 2,000 for an official favour. J. Rajaiah, VRO of Bommareddypally village of Karimnagar district, caught while accepting a bribe in January 2011, and convicted in March 2018.

He demanded and accepted Rs 4,000 to deliver an official favour. B. Rajeshwar, VRO of Satapur village of Nizamabad district, was landed in ACB case in August 2013 and convicted in November 2017. He demanded and accepted Rs 24,000 for issuing Pattadar passbooks.

The government had issued orders dated on 18th of this month, dismissing them from services.
