Chaitanyapuri SI held for bribe

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths on Friday arrested a Sub-Inspector of Police of Chaitanyapuri police station while demanding and accepting a bribe near Srinagar Colony at LB Nagar. SI G. Eroj had allegedly demanded a bribe from the complainant B. Karthik, an advocate, to file charge-sheet in a child sexual abuse case.

SI G. Eroj had allegedly demanded a bribe from the complainant B. Karthik, an advocate, to file charge-sheet in a child sexual abuse case.
The complainant approached ACB which trapped him and caught while accepting the bribe at around 5:15 pm on Friday. The accused has been produced before Special Judge for SPE and ACB cases here in Hyderabad, ACB said in a press release.
