Eamcet results to be announced on May 5
HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced that the Eamcet-2017 results will be declared on May 5. Addressing the gathering at the JNTU-K seminar hall on Monday after releasing the password for the computer-based entrance examinations for both engineering and medical streams, the minister said that for the first time the university was conducting the four-day on line entrance examination
Kakinada: HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao announced that the Eamcet-2017 results will be declared on May 5.
Addressing the gathering at the JNTU-K seminar hall on Monday after releasing the password for the computer-based entrance examinations for both engineering and medical streams, the minister said that for the first time the university was conducting the four-day on line entrance examination deviating from the earlier mode.
Of the total 4-day schedule for the examination, the entrance for engineering stream, will be conducted for three days from April 24 to 26 and for agriculture and medicine on 28, with 27 declared as holiday, the minister said.The results will be declared within a week’s time – on May 5. This is the shortest time being taken for announcing the results, the minister pointed out.
The minister said that in future they will consider holding the entrance tests for various exams in on line mode.
Ganta said that preliminary key will be announced on April 28 evening after conclusion of medical stream entrance. Registrar Ch Saibabu explained measures taken by the university, for the successful conduct of Eamcet during the last three years.
