Hyderabad: The Fresh law graduates of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, who are yet to enrol as advocates in state bar councils, can assist the Hyderabad High Court judges as "law clerks" for one year.

"A new window of opportunity has been thrown open by the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on the directives of the High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad enabling fresh law graduates, yet to be enrolled as advocates in the Bar Council, to assist the high court as law clerks for a period of one year on a monthly stipend," said the registrar general of the high court in a press note.

The guidelines framed by the high court on the matter were accepted by the governments of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, it said.

The government order and the gazette notification and the application form in which the candidates can apply for the appointment as law clerk to the judges are available on the official website of the high court, the release added. The Hyderabad High Court is common for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
