APPSC Group I mains exam peaceful
District Collector B Lakshmikantham said that Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Group-1 Mains examination was held peacefully on the first day at all the four exam centres in the district on Thursday. The Collector said that about 902 candidates attended the examination with 66.37 present percentage out of 1,359 candidates who had applied for the General English paper.
Vijayawada: District Collector B Lakshmikantham said that Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Group-1 Mains examination was held peacefully on the first day at all the four exam centres in the district on Thursday. The Collector said that about 902 candidates attended the examination with 66.37 present percentage out of 1,359 candidates who had applied for the General English paper.
He inspected the proceedings of the examination at Bishop Azaraiah Junior College centre and said APPSC mains Paper - I will be held on August 19, Paper - II on August 21, Paper - III on August 23, Paper – IV on August 26 and Paper – V on August 28. For the smooth conduct of the examination two liaison officers and four assistant liaison officers were deployed and arrangements have been made at the exam centres, said the Collector. Vijayawada RDO S Harish, urban tahsildar R Sivarao accompanied the Collector.
