Moderate rain forecast for state
Heavy rainfall occurred at isolated places in both coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema districts during the last 24 hours, as the Southwest Monsoon was active in the two regions. According to the bulletin, the north-south trough from interior Odisha to south Tamil Nadu, now runs from interior Odisha to north coastal Andhra Pradesh with an embedded cyclonic circulation over south Chhattisgarh its neighbourhood. The trough from Odisha to South TN across coastal Andhra is persisting. These factors will bring light to moderate rain/thundershowers from September 7 to 10 at many places in coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema.
