Adilabad: The ‘Rythu Swarajya vedhikha’ was celebrated as part of National Agriculture day here at Agriculture Market Yard in Icchoda mandal headquarters on Friday.
On this occasion farmers garlanded Lord Balaram who is the God of agriculture. Later, they honored the young scientist Rajendhar Reddy. They held discussions on high yielding ,organic farming .
District president Sangepu Borranna told that Government s should try to bring more economic welfare schemes to farmers. Bharath Kisan Sangh district president Maruthu Patel, Mandal president Gajanand, farmers Laxman, Dileep, Rameshwar, Sathish Reddy and others participated in the programme.
