The trial run of the App is being done involving the drivers, who will be tasked to run the buses. It may be noted that the bus services are planned to be launched on Dasara festival day since the testing of the App and training of drivers need some time the launch date is getting advanced.

Speaking to The Hans India, RTC Warangal Regional Manager T Surya Kiran informed that the buses will be operated at a frequency of one service for every 20 minutes. A total of 30 buses, 15 services each from Hyderabad and Warangal will be running in the route. The passengers need not go to bus stations to board the buses as the min-AC bus service will offer pick up and drop facility.

There will be 34 pick-up and drop points in three routes in Warangal city while there will be 20 such points each in three routes in Hyderabad.Since the buses are being equipped with GPS the passengers can track the live running status of the services. The sitting capacity of each bus will be 21 and the fare per head is expected to be Rs 300.

However, there are apprehensions about the success of the service as bookings have to done only through the App and on account of the higher fare. According to a senior official, currently the RTC witnesses only a 30 per cent of online bookings while the remaining are ground bookings done at reservations counters and on board a service.Nonetheless, the officials are hoping that the mini-AC services are run in Hyderabad and Warangal route only the initiative will likely have a satisfactory success as urban folks got used to use the Apps. The comfort of boarding the bus near their homes with pick-up and drop facility may attract the passengers.
