Bhadrachalam: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) state unit president Dr K Laxman on Thursday put blame on the TRS government that it was running the administration for the past two-and-a-half years much against the people’s hopes and aspirations.

He blamed the government for conveniently forgetting the promises it made to the people in its bid to come to power.

Viable alternative to the TRS
Speaking to The Hans India, the BJP leader said that the people of the State hail Narendra Modi’s policies and visualise that the BJP would emerge as an alternative to the ruling the TRS in the next elections. The proposed BJP state executive to be held here would discuss ways and means to expand the party from the polling booth level to upwards.

The BJP would prepare for the next elections appointing district-level leaders. Taking the Centre’s policies to the people rested on the shoulders of each and every party worker.

BJP seeks Rama’s blessings
The purpose of convening the party state executive here is to seek blessings of the presiding deity Lord Rama for the development of the party. A report would be submitted to the Centre after speaking to the two Telugu States on the problems the temple town is facing from five panchayats that were merged with the Andhra Pradesh.

He said the BJP state unit of the party would render its duty to merge the five panchayats again with the Bhadrachalam. The BJP would appeal to the Centre to get funds released to Bhadrachalam for development of the Ramayana Circuit.

Modi’s rule hailed
He noted that everyone was supporting Narendra Modi helping in evolving a corrupt-free society. “People are supporting Modi in his attempts to weed out Pak-sponsored terrorists and black money,” he said.

The Centre, under the leadership of Narendra Modi, has been making strenuous efforts to extend transparent administration and unblemished leadership besides striving for the welfare of youth, labourers and farmers. The Opposition parties making baseless allegations against Narendra Modi unable to stomach the Centre’s welfare programmes, he said.
