Officials told to expedite Mission Bhagiratha works
Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office Smita Sabharwal on Monday directed the Nirlmal district officials to expedite the Mission Bhagiratha works so as to complete them on a war-footing.
Adilabad: Additional Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office Smita Sabharwal on Monday directed the Nirlmal district officials to expedite the Mission Bhagiratha works so as to complete them on a war-footing.
Addressing the review meeting in the Collectorate, Smitha expressed displeasure over the slow pace of the works. Later, she inspected the MB works in Neradigonda, Icchoda and Mavala areas.
She directed the Engineering department officials to take steps for ensuring completion of the MB works before the monsoon. She advised them to deploy required labourers in the Agency areas so to complete the tasks on hand.
Special Secretary of Haritha Haram programme Priyanka Verghese, District Collector Buddha Prakash M Jyothy and the Engineering department officials were present on the occasion.
