2 killed in bike-bus collision in Kothagudem

Two persons belonging to the district were killed in a ghastly road accident that occurred in Kukkunuru in West Godavari of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh on Thursday. The deceased were identified as Pinama Goutham (30) and Loudya Tirupathi (35), residents of Kothagudem.

The incident took place when the two-wheeler on which the duo was travelling hit a bus head on while taking a turn. While one person died on the spot, the other was declared brought dead on his arrival at the hospital.
The RTC bus involved in the accident was on its way to Rajamahendravaram when the accident took place. Police registered a case and further investigation is on, informed SI Shadik.
