Launches ‘Vanda Rojula Yagnam’ to reduce losses

Hanamkonda: The TSRTC Warangal region has set to end current fiscal 2016-17 with an estimated loss of Rs 25 crores.

In order to cover the losses, the officials have come up with a plan ‘Vanda Rojula Yagnam’ wherein they aimed to make use of summer season to boost the corporations’ income. During the next 100 days, it was planned to run buses highest number of kilometres and as many trips as possible to boost the regions’ revenues.

A pamphlet on ‘Vanda Rojula Yagnam’ was released by the RTC Executive Director G Satyanarayana and Regional Manager T Suryakiran at the regional office in Hanamkonda on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, the officials have sought the active participation of the workers in the initiative.

They asked the drivers and conductors to be vigilant about their health in view of the summer so that they could not fall sick. The season could pose a challenge to the workers but collective efforts should be made for the survival of the organisation.

The mechanical staff should ensure that the buses would be in good condition during the season. There should be no cancellation of trips and change in the services schedule as the summer holidays would be crucial in earning additional income, Surya Kiran suggested.

The Executive Director stressed on the team work by officials, drivers, conductors and mechanical staff in getting better results in terms of earning good revenues during the season to ensure a better future to the TSRTC.

Divisional Manager (Urban) G Ramulu, depot managers K Bhanukiran, P Arpitha, B Srinivas, N Easu, J Sugunakar, Madhusudhan, T Raghu and others were present.
