According to Nutankal SI Abhilash, three persons Kanakati Srikanth, Kanakati Gopi and Peddinti Madhu, affiliated to TRS were attacked by Goruganti Ramachander Rao, Venkanna, Madusudan Rao and Narsimha Rao, of BJP with sticks and knives.

While Srikanth was injured severely, other two suffered mild injuries. Based on the complaint by Srikanth, police filed an attempt to murder case against the accused persons.

Meanwhile, the angered victim group members and 20 other villagers attacked Goruganti Ramachander Rao, his son Kanna Rao and father Narsimha Rao.

While shocked Kanna Rao escaped the attack with mild injuries, the attackers reportedly stabbed Ramachander Rao in his thigh apart from manhandling Narsimha Rao.

Later, the mob ransacked the house of Rao. Based on complaint of Rao, police booked cases on the attackers.

SI Abhilash informed that situation in Miryala village was under control and probe was on into the incidents.
