On the occasion, the almanac of 2017 according to Hindu calendar was read out, called as ‘Panchanga Sravanam’, enlightening the people about the future days.
District Collector Champalal conveyed festival wishes to the district people and exuded confidence that the New Year would be fruitful and joyous to the new district Komaram Bheem. IJC convenor Abdul Rahman, Accreditation committee member Prakash Goud and others were also present on the occasion.
