Ravi Varma takes charge as Karimnagar DIG
Senior police officer C Ravi Varma took charge as the Deputy Inspector of General (DIG) of Karimnagar range here on Wednesday. Earlier he worked as DIG of Warangal range and in-charge DIG of Karimnagar range.
Karimnagar: Senior police officer C Ravi Varma took charge as the Deputy Inspector of General (DIG) of Karimnagar range here on Wednesday. Earlier he worked as DIG of Warangal range and in-charge DIG of Karimnagar range.
Ravi Varma previously served as DIG in Crime Investigation Department (CID) and played important role in probing the EAMCET-II question paper leak case. He belongs to 1990 batch of DSPs and was conferred the IPS in 2001.
Karimnagar Police Commissioner V B Kamalasan Reddy and Ramagundam Police Commissioner Vikram Jeet Duggal along with trainee IPS Dr Sangram Singh G Patil conveyed wishes to the DIG.
ACPs J Rama Rao, Thirupati and Ashok Kumar, inspectors T Srinivas Rao, Mahesh Goud and Reserve Inspector Gangadhar also among others who met the DIG Ravi Varma and conveyed wishes.
