On the eighth day of Brahmotsavam celebrations of Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy, Vasantotsavam was celebrated and the deities were taken out in a procession on Gaja Vahanam through the main Mada streets of the temple town on Monday.
Bhadrachalam: On the eighth day of Brahmotsavam celebrations of Lord Sitaramachandra Swamy, Vasantotsavam was celebrated and the deities were taken out in a procession on Gaja Vahanam through the main Mada streets of the temple town on Monday.
Amidst chanting of Vedic hymns, the temple priests celebrated the Vasantotsavam by making the deities seated facing each other. Meanwhile, the Brahmotsavams are going to come to a close on Thursday.
On Tuesday, Chakrateertham event is scheduled to take place at the temple town. Towards in the evening, Purnahuti, Dhwaja Avarohanam, Dwadasa Pradakshina are slated to take place.
Meanwhile, the temple executive officer T Ramesh Babu said that Arjita Sevas would resume from Tuesday.
