Urs celebrations kickstart: Pocharam Srinivas Reddy
Minister for Agriculture and Cooperatives Pocharam Srinivas Reddy inaugurated the ‘Urs-e-Sharif shandhal’ procession in Jalalpur of Varni mandal on Saturday. Devotees in large numbers participated in the procession.

He inspected the arrangements made for devotees at Badapahad. The Minister urged the medical officers to be ready with medicines for snake bites, scorpion bites and ORS packets in case of dehydration.
Reddy directed the DRO to complete the 40 feet CC road, central lighting, shopping complex and ten huts in between Majid-Darga till knoll by next year. The Minister directed the officials concerned to make the arrangements to see that no devotee faces inconvenience.
Later, he along with Deputy General Manager Padma Rao inaugurated temporary BSNL cell tower for the convenience of devotees.
