The Minister laid a foundation stone for the road widening works between Thanikelli and Thatipudi, at a cost of Rs.18 crore, here at Thanikelli of Khammam on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Tummala reiterated that the state government was working towards the development of the district and was allocating huge funds for providing all necessary infrastructure and facilities.
With the Central funds, the road laying works across the State were going on at a brisk pace, said Tummala, adding that establishment of junctions and dividers along with road widening works are all most completed in Khammam City.
MLC Balasani Lakshminarayana, Zilla Parishad Chairperson G Kavitha, Wyra MLA B Madan Lal, Konijerla MPP Usha Rani and others took part in the programme.
