Palvancha: There is need for full-fledged development of tourism industry in the district, Legislator Jalagam Venkat Rao has said.

He along with Forest Department Chief Principal Conservator PK Jha inspected the Kinnerasani tourist spot in Palvancha mandal on Tuesday.

On the occasion, Jalagam sought cooperation of Jha in developing tourism in the district. “We have identified few spots for torusim development.

These spots once developed will in turn generate employment and revenue,” he said, urging the officials to spend funds of the Kinnerasani project for its management and development of Deer Park and Peacock Park.

The MLA asked the officials to provide better facilities for the tourists. “These tourist spots would provide immense joy to the future generations,” he said.

Jalagam further urged the officials concerned to allow environment-friendly vehicles in the tourist spots to protect the biodiversity. He asked the officials concerned to develop tourism through a planned approach. Later, the MLA inaugurated Duck Park.

Forest Conservator Rambabu, DFO (wildlife) Naga Bhushanam, Mukundha Reddy, DSP Surender Rao and forest staff were present.
