Arrangements in place for Telangana Formation Day
The district administration is busy preparing arrangements for making the State Formation Day a grand success on June 2 in Bhadradri-Kothagudem district. The District Collector Rajiv Gandhi Hanumanth and Joint Collector M Ram Kishan conducted a review meeting for the success of the Formation Day.

Joint Collector M Ram Kishan visited Pragathi Grounds here on Wednesday for overseeing the arrangements to celebrate the formation day.
The J-C told the media that Excise Minister Padma Rao will be the chief guest at the celebrations. ‘This is the first time we are celebrating the State Formation Day in the new district,’ he said.
“All government offices, panchayats, mandal centres and marketing centers will be illuminated with colorful lights. The district formation committee will select persons, who are active in their talents of various events.
On June 2, Minister Padma Rao will distribute prizes and citations to the selected persons,” the J-C said. Meanwhile, Singareni Collieries is making arrangements to make the State Formation day a grand success. The Company appointed Singareni General Manager Md Masood Mujahid as convener for this event.
Mujahid said that CMD Sridhar will attend as chief guest of this programme. On June 2, they will organise cultural activities at the main office event hall. On this occasion the company will conduct 2K run in Kothagudem, he said.
