KTR urges Venkaiah to include Karimnagar in Smart City list
Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday urged the Centre to include Karimnagar in the list of “Smart Cities”.The Minister has called on Union Information and Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu in Delhi and appealed to him to include Karimnagar in the Smart Cities List.
Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao on Monday urged the Centre to include Karimnagar in the list of “Smart Cities”.
The Minister has called on Union Information and Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu in Delhi and appealed to him to include Karimnagar in the Smart Cities List.
KTR also discussed on issues pertaining to urban development and other schemes being implemented in Telangana State.
He also informed to Venkaiah that he attended the GST Council Meeting chaired by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and put forth the appeals of the state government about reduction in tax on granite, beedi workers, handloom clothes and garments and exemption to flagship programs of water scheme and irrigation projects.
