Provide better medical services in govt hospitals: Jagtial Collector
District Collector Dr A Sharath on Tuesday directed the officials of Health department to provide better medical services to the patients, who visit government hospitals. He inspected the Community Health Centre here at Metpalli and enquired the patients about the medical services being provided to them in the hospital.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector instructed the health officials to provide better medical services to the patients, who visit to the hospital without any delay. He also ordered the staff of the hospital to arrange new fans replacing old ones and those, which are not functioning.
He also directed that the torn mesh in the maternity ward be replaced with the new one. The Medical officer of the hospital informed the Collector that there is deficiency of bed sheets in the hospitals and are unable to change them regularly.
Responding to the Medical Officer, the Collector assured him that necessary steps would be taken for supplying additional bed sheets as early as possible. When a woman patient informed him that she had not received the KCR kit after delivering the baby, the Collector expressed his anger on the data entry operator Mallikarjun and ordered him to bring the kit immediately. He handed over it to the woman.
The Collector ordered the officials to display the board about the details of items that will be distributed under ‘Amma Odi’ scheme. District Medical and Health Officer Sugandini and Health officials of Community Health Centre were present.
