Officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday conducted raids at the house of Adilabad district Gazetted Food Inspector Bapuji, following complaints that he has accumulated disproportionate assets.

Adilabad: Officials of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday conducted raids at the house of Adilabad district Gazetted Food Inspector Bapuji, following complaints that he has accumulated disproportionate assets.

The ACB teams simultaneously raided on his houses at Somajiguda and Bandlaguda in Hyderabad, Medchal and his office in Adilabad.

The officials reported to have seized Rs two lakh cash, 260 grams of gold, half-kg silver from his Somajiguda house. They also found documents pertaining to a villa in Bandlaguda worth Rs 1.50 crore and agricultural land in Medchal.

Two bank accounts and a locker were also being checked. The raids were conducted by ACB DSP Papalal and his staff.
Bapuji is staying at Dwaraka Nagar in Adilabad.
