The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, has become an epitome of falsehood, alleged the TPCC former president P Lakshmaiah. Hanamkonda: The Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, has become an epitome of falsehood, alleged the TPCC former president P Lakshmaiah. Since the TRS government came into existence three and half years ago, the CM was on the task of deceiving the public in the State with his false promises and claims on their delivery, the senior Congress leader said.
Speaking to presspersons in Hanamkonda on Wednesday, Lakshmaiah maintained that the CM has reached peak state in telling lies. He objected Chandrashekar Rao’s statement on Tuesday in Hyderabad that Andhra Pradesh Police Academy was named after Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy by the State government after the formation of Telangana.
Quoting a GO MS No: 83 issued in March 2013, the Congress leader said, the then government had changed the name of the academy as Raja Bahadur Venkat Rama Reddy AP Police Academy. ‘I feel sad at the CM’s ignorance,’ he added.
In a similar manner the CM in a statement on Independence Day claimed that he has initiated the process of filling 84,000 jobs and ensured that all the vacancies filled up in TSRTC and regularised its contract workers.
The fact was the last notification for jobs in the RTC issued in 2011 after which, no notification was released. The process of regularising RTC contract employees was initiated in 2013 by Congress government deciding to execute it in three phases and first two faces were completed.
Quoting a famous quote, Lakshmaiah told the CM that he cannot fool all the people all the time as the people were realising the real character of KCR and at the right time would teach a lesson. Even the courts have admonished the TRS government for nearly 50 times on various issues.
Lack of transparency and proper knowledge in the issue of GOs has been leading to various legal problems. The TRS government unlike the past governments was maintaining secrecy with regard to the GOs and not posting them on the websites of respective departments.
The redesigning of irrigation projects was nothing but a farce. It reduced the capacity of the projects. The barrage proposed at Kanthanapalli was with 21 TMC but after redesigning it came down to 9.5 TMC at as government planned barrage at Tupakulagudem.
“The CM was shying away when we ask for a debate on projects redesigning. And not giving an appointment to opposition parties. The CM must come for an open debate on job notifications and project redesigns,” Lakshmaiah asserted. The party leaders G Venkata Ramana Reddy, Rajanala Srihari, Katla Srinivas Rao, EV Srinivas Rao and others were present.
