Minister G Jagadish Reddy inspects MB works in Suryapet
Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has conceptualised Mission Bhagiratha to supply safe drinking water to every household in the State.
Suryapet: Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has conceptualised Mission Bhagiratha to supply safe drinking water to every household in the State.
The Minister along with District Collector Surendra Mohan inspected the Mission Bhagiratha works of 70 KL, GLBR and WPC at Imampet and Undragutta hillocks in Suryapet constituency on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he said the works of Mission Bhagiratha would be expedited to provide safe drinking water to people of Suryapet and Kodad constituencies from January 1.
He directed the officials to complete the works as per the schedule. “Negligence in duties will not be tolerated at any cost,” he added.
Market Committee Chairman Venkateshwarlu, District Library Chairman Srinivas Goud, MPP Janaiah, Mission Bhagiratha official Madhu Babu and others participated in the programme.
