Medigadda will resolve irrigation issues
Energy Minister G Jagadish Reddy stated that the welfare of the farmers was the government’s top agenda. On Friday, the Minister distributed swiping machines to representatives of primary agriculture cooperative societies at District Central Cooperative Bank in Suryapet.

Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said that with the special measure taken up by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the round-the-clock power supply to agriculture sector was launched in the district.
He informed that State government had taken up Medigadda project to permanently solve the irrigation issues in several districts of the state. Once project gets completed, there would be no irrigation issues in the districts for 10 years.
Exuding confidence that famer coordination committees would bring revolutionary changes in the agriculture sector, he condemned the baseless comments of opposition parties on setting up such committees.
DCCB Chairman Pandu Ranga Rao, Suryapet Muncipal Chairperson Ganduri Pravallika and others participated in the programme.
