Kakinada: The Kakinada police rescued a mentally challenged girl in the late hours of Monday.

According to Indrapalem police, they noticed a 14-year-old girl walking on the Chidiga bridge on at 10.30 pm. The beat constables brought her to the Indrapalem police station.

The cops said that she looks challenged and had unable to reveal anything about her identity. Further, the girl was reciting about Vakada village, a nearby village. The police also said that if they fail to find where she is from, they would hand her over to Women and Child Welfare Department officials. They urged the people to inform them, if they identify her.
