QIS Educational Institutions president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao appreciating the principal, Dr Kilari Veeraswamy for receiving the prestigious award

Ongole: “Venus International Foundation, a well-known educational society has recognised the services of Dr Kilari Veeraswamy, Principal of QIS College of Engineering and Technology in Ongole and conferred the Distinguished Leadership award in the International Higher Education Leadership Meet 2018, held in Chennai,” said the college secretary and correspondent, Nidamanuri Kalyan Chakravarthy and president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao.

The Venus International Foundation has announced leadership awards to the people working under nine categories-- agriculture, engineering, health and medical, humanities and social sciences, management, science, veterinary and animal sciences.

The QISCET principal, Veeraswamy received the award in the engineering category in the award ceremony held in Chennai on January 6. Veeraswamy expressed happiness in receiving the award when several intellectuals at the positions of principals and deans competed for the same.

In the specially organised appreciation meeting, Nageswara Rao congratulated Veeraswamy by saying, “His leadership qualities can be observed in receiving the NBA, Autonomous and NAAC accreditations for the college and establishing the research center in collaboration with the university and winning the JNTU-K Best Teacher award-2014 and Praxis Media Best Principal Award-2016.” The teaching and non-teaching staff of the college also appreciated the principal for his award.
