State-level engineering colleges Sports meet held
The VIII Inter-engineering Colleges State-level sports meet was conducted by G.Narayanamma Women’s Institute of Technology & Sciences (GNITS), concluded here on Tuesday.

In the Throw ball GNITS-B Team beat GNITS-A team with 11-15 and 9-15.BVRIT won the Volley ball competition after beating GNITS engg studnets bring out sports prowess in them with 2 points. In BasketballVNRVJIET beat GNITS with 2 points for winners spot.
In Table Tennis GNITS - A team beat SNIST with 3-0 points and emerged champions. Table Tennis singles was bagged by SNIST after beating GNITS with 3-0.CBIT won Badminton singles and doubles titles by beating GNITS –A with 11-4 and 11-5. 11-3 and 11-5 respectively.
The two- day event concluded with the valedictoryfunction in which Arjuna Awardee and renowned Table Tennis Player MirKhasim Ali was the chief guest.
Prizes were distributed to the winning teams from various engineering college across the state.
The programme was attended by Malladi Haripriya, Associate Manager in Accenture, G Srividya Reddy, Joint Secretary of GNITS, Dr. KRamesh Reddy, Principal of GNITS, and the Physical Director Dr.MVL Surya Kumari.
