Hyderabad: “It is not one’s educational credentials alone, but more importantly the attitude of the person that determines the success of an individual,” said Sabitha Natraj, General Manager (Corporate Communications), South Region, Marketing Division, Indian Oil Corporation Limited. She delivered a guest lecture to the X Batch of MBA students at GITAM Hyderabad Business School recently.

In her address, Sabitha Natraj spoke on real life situations and how people react to certain corporate problems that they face and the power of decision making in every aspect of the business. She stressed on the importance of creating trust and credibility and how they help one meet one’s business objectives. Natraj shared her way of balancing professional and personal life and spoke on the importance of achieving work-life balance.

In her lecture she also explained the working of Indian Oil Corporation and the successful business models used by the company. Through audio-visual aids she presented the essence of Indian Oil’s strength and its employees’ determination to serve customers for the latter’s ultimate satisfaction. She emphasised on the mission of Indian Oil Corporation that is to do the best possible for the country and its people.

She narrated how Indian Oil’s welfare work stood exemplary in instances such the Chennai floods. Earlier, Prof Y Lakshman Kumar, Dean & Director, GITAM HBS, felicitated Sabitha Natraj. Faculty and students of MBA participated in the programme.
