Hyderabad: 72nd Independence Day was celebrated in the Sister Nivedita School, Ameerpet with a patriotic fervor and enthusiasm. The programme began with the hosting of the flag by the Chief Guest of the occasion S Manikandan, President, Rotary Club, and Hyderabad North.

This was followed by the speeches delivered by the students the Head Boy Aditya Shekhawat and the Head Girl Y Hemasrita and K Harika, Captain of Environmental Club in three different languages, expressing their views on ‘Freedom’. These speeches were well appreciated by the Chief Guest who encouraged the children to develop their talents and contribute towards the nation’s growth.

The school premises was filled with the feel of patriotism with the tiny tots of The Play School performing a dance show portraying themselves as the border security force protecting our motherland.
