Chenchu woman dies; police suspect paramour
Chenchu woman Peddamma alias Peddi (35) died under suspicious circumstances at Chenchu Colony in Gajulapalli RS village in Nallamalla forest on late Wednesday. But, relatives came to know about her death on Thursday morning. Peddi’s relatives said she had an extra marital affair with Raju of the same village.
Kurnool: Chenchu woman Peddamma alias Peddi (35) died under suspicious circumstances at Chenchu Colony in Gajulapalli RS village in Nallamalla forest on late Wednesday. But, relatives came to know about her death on Thursday morning.
Peddi’s relatives said she had an extra marital affair with Raju of the same village. On Wednesday, she along with her family members has attended the work being carried out by the Forest department at Moodu Vagula Gadda in Nallamalla forest.
All the family members returned to their houses late in the evening except Peddamma, they said. They stated that Raju informed about the death of Peddamma to her first husband’s son Eedanna. In turn, Eedanna informed the police. The police registered a case based on son’s complaint and launched a hunt to nab Raju.
