Susheel Jain, who is teaching yoga since 2009 has started taking Sunday classes for students of Devnar School for the blind. “Few weeks back I met few visually challenged through my yoga student Prajwal who used to teach law to them.

After having a conversation with those students I realised that they would love to learn yoga but there are no teachers, who would like to take it up as it is difficult to teach them and not economically rewarding. So I decided to start weekly classes for them,” said Susheel Jain.

“The Devnar students are currently starting with basics of yoga, which involves various breathing and meditation practices, and simple postures such as butterfly, Pawanmuktasa etc. It's a step by step learning and I have few volunteers who help the kids to correct the poses, so hopefully after a couple of weeks, they will able to understand and experience the positive effects of performing a full suryanamaskar,” he adds.
