HMWSSB swings into action

In the wake of sudden heavy rains, the HMWSSB, on its part, swung into action; the 28 Emergency Responsive Teams (ERTs) rushed and attended drainage complaints.

The drainage manhole cover, which was damaged at Oliphant Bridge and caused severe traffic congestion, was attended. In addition, officials visited Nagamaiah Kunta under Baghlingampally Section, where water could not be collected from taps and drinking water was supplied through tankers.
