Yadav called upon officials to imbibe a zero tolerance policy for any lapse on this issue. He was addressing a Video Conference of DRMs of all six divisions from Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad on Monday.

The GM spelt out that the other core areas of priority are Punctuality, Earnings, Project execution, Public grievances and Staff welfare.

Yadav emphasised on track maintenance as vital to Safety and advised officials to intensify checks and inspections to negate any failure.

Echoing the words of Railways Minister, the GM wanted the Engineering departments to achieve the targets set for the year in terms of execution, without any delay. Opining that team work is of essence, he instructed all departments to work in co-ordination.

He also advised everyone on the need to monitor public grievances on real time basis, on account of the fact that social media has come to the fore in the present times.

Earlier, the GM held a meeting on Safety to take stock of SCR’s performance and suggested measures towards attaining an accident-free record.

This was followed by a meeting to review progress of project works on SCR and plan for completion of all the works targeted for the current financial year, wherein Yadav clearly conveyed that their shall be no let up or any delay.
