The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) seized ten small and big business establishments on Monday. After issuing notices and several announcements, the tax department officials seized shops in Sanjeeviah Nagar Colony, Tadbund area in Secunderabad.

TVS showroom, Sri Sreenivasa Auto Electronics and Batteries and A.K. Enterprises Paints in Survey number 180 and shops in Plot No's 29 & 30 including Stepin Hotel, Rock Strength (Tiles), S&S Pan Shop, a cloth Store, classic food centre, Sri Krishna Reddy Sweets and R.K. Reddy Delux Mess were seized.
The total outstanding amount to be paid is Rs 14,55,926.40. According to tax department officials, the SCB collected Rs 29 crore till date and there is still close to Rs 2 crore to be collected.
