Indian Women's Cricket Team captain Mithali Raj and former Indian cricketer Venkatapathy Raju launched the book 'A Tall Order' written by Kapil Pathare, on Tuesday at Genuine Broaster Chicken, Jubilee Hills.

In the book, Kapil has picked the 10 best Indian cricketers and offers insight into the career of each one of them. The 10 cricketers include Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Sourav Ganguly, Rahul Dravid, VVS Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, MS Dhoni, Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan.

"India is a country, where most of the people love cricket. In recent times a couple of biopics were made on cricketers. In India, people always want to know more about cricket and this book gives good insights about the sport," Mithali Raj said.

Speaking about Indian women cricket team chances to win the upcoming Women's Cricket World Cup - 2017 at England, she shared, "World Cup is a big platform where the whole world will watch our performance and we need to do well and we are confident that we do well.

Recently we gave a good performance at the Quadrangular Women's series in Potchefstroom, South Africa. Our batting and bowling department is good and we need improvement in our fielding department to bag the prestigious title."

Former Indian cricketer Venkatapathy Raju said, "In recent times women’s cricket is getting a good response in the country due to the hard work of the players like Mithali Raj. I hope Indian men's cricket will definitely defend the Champions Trophy.

Adopting the different playing conditions is the key factor in any team’s success. To retain the Champions Trophy, our team must deliver hard work. I appreciate Kapil for this book and I will be happier if he writes his next on the top ten women cricketers."

The book was launched by Sri Lankan legend Sanath Jayasuriya in Mumbai six months ago. Sharing about the book, the author, Kapil says, “This book explores the 10 great cricket personalities of India in the last decade.

Virat Kohli was also in my mind when I began this book and I will write about him in my next book. We are also launching this book in London after the India vs Pakistan match in Champions Trophy-2017. I hope the women's cricket team will win the upcoming world cup."
