In order to achieve optimal scientific precision, JNTUH took up a radar technology testing method for studying sewer lines of 300 mm diameter from Clock Tower to Kalasiguda on Friday.

The Ground Penetration Radar (GPR) experiment was aimed at identifying underground cavities of the old 300 mm dia sewer lines and to look into the feasibility of the existing pipeline.

The work was monitored by Dr P S Suryanarayana, Director (Technical), along with G Sudarshan, General Manager (Engg.), Suneel, Deputy General Manager (Engg.) and JNTUH programmer Dr B Venkeshwar Rao, JNTUH.
