The Hyderabad-based Emerging Cricketers Development Group (ECDG) had an eventful outing in the Inter-State Emerging T20 cricket tournament in Mumbai recently.

The junior team annexed the trophy in its category while the senior outfit finished runner-up in the five-team tournament that was held at Azad Maidan.
In the junior finals, ECDG, riding on a brilliant unbeaten 110 by Devesh Daima, who was declared as the emerging player of the tournament, crushed Young Achievers Sports Club, Mumbai by 61 runs.
However, the seniors lost the championship clash to another local team, Imtiyaz Academy, by 27 runs.
Later, Uttar Pradesh Ranji player, Imtiyaz Ahmed presented the awards.
