Speaking with The Hans India about his food trail in Hyderabad he says, “I enjoying Hyderabadi cuisine since the time I landed.

I travelled for two days around the Hyderabad and I had some delicious food here. During my trip, I found out that many people in the city are fond of Haleem and why not it s such an amazing dish.”

“In the night, I enjoyed various Hyderabadi dishes at Old City. I went to Shadab, and Pista House and I tried fried fish and chicken tikka at Charminar. I also visited a restaurant ‘Spice 6’ in Banjara Hills and I found the great Arabic food.”

The Chef says that Mumbai is one of the best places in India for Kebabs and Hyderabad for Biryani and Haleem. “I must admit that Haleem is my favourite dish in Hyderabadi cuisine.”

Kunal is also writing a book about Indian pickles. About the book, he says, “I am not just writing recipes about pickles, I am also exploring various stories behind the pickles across the country.

Writing a book on Indian pickles is a big task as we have various pickles in different regions. I am travelling to every State to get interesting pickle recipes and stories and I got a few recipes from Telangana too. I am hoping that I will complete the book in two more years.”

“Food is the only thing that is transforming quickly in India compared to any other fields. There is a huge demand for international cuisine in India. Our Indian cuisine will become famous across the world in near future,” he concludes.
