Bhavani has created an incredible body of work by completing 24 paintings within eight hours. Every painting has its own expression, beauty, mood and unique colours.

Bhavani used different mediums for each work such as acrylic on canvas, charcoal, pastel of colours, mix medium colours and oil paint. She has taken up the challenge to complete at least 12 paintings in 8 hours but surprisingly she did 24 paintings and did intense work on it. In every painting, she expressed about her childhood dreams and the state of living.

Bhavani is also a Neuro linguistic programmer and an artist too, “I am a B Tech graduate with post graduation in Risk Management. I have been interested in painting since childhood. I used to do painting on canvas. I have practiced art for six years. My parents encouraged me a lot.

While doing job I used to paint during the break time. My friends started asking me to try on canvas. When I started learning, people suggested me names of a few institutes to learn some tips, where I learned some techniques for art.”

“It took me eight hours to do these paintings, I did this to test my strength, I never thought of displaying my work in the form of an exhibition. But many supported me to do the show,” She adds.

About her work she explains, “During my childhood I used to go for Kathak classes and those beats inspired me to do my first painting ‘Ganesha’. Then I did four paintings continuously. I found it interesting.

Then I thought of doing 24 paintings in 24 hours, but after 12 paintings I gave up. Because of pain in my shoulders, I couldn’t even move my hand. But after taking a break I started again and I completed 24 paintings within eight hours and I didn’t even realise until I finished.”
