Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology (KMIT) celebrated its 10th anniversary at its premises in Narayanaguda over the weekend.

Keshav Memorial Institute of Technology (KMIT) celebrated its 10th anniversary at its premises in Narayanaguda over the weekend.
The college organised a day long fest with a special emphasis on charities such as Humane Society International, Sphoorthi Foundation Orphanage, Shirdi Sai Old Age Home, Jeevan Daan. The students donated 54 cartons of clothes, stationary and grocery and raised around Rs 1 lakh.
There were 190 pledges for organ donation. A product launch competition was also organised and one participant developed a drone that could disperse fertilizers. A wish tree was created and wishes were hung on it.
The college students also designed merchandise for sale. In addition to activities such as quiz and dance competitions, an art gallery was curated and the artwork by students was put for auction, the proceeds for which went to charity. It was completely organised by the students, with the active participation of students as well as faculty. The college is an ecosystem, a beautiful ecosystem where art and music survives alongside technology.
