As part of their efforts towards preparing for patient care, Yashoda Hospitals Group conducted a mock drill at its premises in Somajiguda on Tuesday.

A demonstration was performed on how to react and shift the patients when emergency strikes or calamity befalls. Doctors, paramedical and security staff jumped into the action in a matter of a few seconds to show how they can save, shift the patients in case of natural calamity, an emergency because of building collapse.

Dr Ravikiran Reddy, vice president (Medical), Yashoda Hospitals said the system was geared for protecting patients. “The mock drill had amply demonstrated that we were fully prepared for any such situation,” he said.

Dr Suresh Reddy Vice President, and Dr Suresh, in charge, Emergency care, supervised treatments and evacuation of the 12 patients participated in the mock drill.
