VCRC cricket tourney begins
Alumni of the “Vocational Course in Railway Commercial” (VCRC) inducted into the Indian Railways, competed in a friendly cricket tournament at the Railway Recreation Complex here on Thursday.
East Maredpally: Alumni of the “Vocational Course in Railway Commercial” (VCRC) inducted into the Indian Railways, competed in a friendly cricket tournament at the Railway Recreation Complex here on Thursday.
The four-day tournament is organised by the South Central Railways (SCR) and will witness 30 teams of former and current employees locking horns for the “Coherence Cup”.
Murali Krishna, organiser of the event said, “These sports meets are a way to celebrate the camaraderie and pride of being a VCRC0ian. We play it with complete sportsmanship and cherish each moment that we spend here."
Guna Shekaram, Principal Chief Commercial, IRTS, Vijay Bhaskar, Chief Manager, Freight Services, Gandham Chandrudu, Pavitran, Jagdeesh and Ali, IRS officers attended the event.
