Hyderabad: Hare Krishna Movement celebrated Kartika Vana Mahostavam, with Sri Sri Nithai Gouranga at Partha Sarathi Vanam,Chanad Nagar, near Chilukuru Village on Sunday.

Krishna devotees from all parts of the twin cities gathered at the venue and enjoyed the fete. They started from the Sri Swayumbhu Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in the morning. The participants had darshan of Lord Balaji at Chilukuru Temple after celebrations at Vanam.

Transport facility was arranged for the 500 devotees by buses at different parts of the city. The main events in the programme were Krishna Balaram Abhishekam with bhajans and kirthans, Krishna Conscious Games with prizes, Skits and delicious prasadam during breakfast and lunch times.

Sriman Bindu Madhav Dasa, Vice-President, Hare Krishna Movement Hyderabad said that remembering Lord Krishna and celebrating the event with the devotes gives a great joy in our lives. “This kind of Vana Mahostavams with the bigger group of devotees improve the devotional feeling in the society which in turn causes peace in society,” he said.

During the day long celebrations, he gave the message of Lord Krishna to the devotees and purpose of Vanabhojanam. The programme was concluded with the Hari Nama Sankerthana, Panchaamritha Abhishekam , Damodara Harthi and Evening prasadam.
